Kirra SLSC Surf Woman of the Year
We are very proud to announce Ella Kinneally as our represent for the SLSQ Surf Woman of the Year for the 2020/21 season. Ella has been a member of Kirra Surf Life Saving Club for over 12 years, since she first joined Nippers as a Green Cap. Ella is a dedicated member of our club, she has been an Age Manager within our Nipper program for 4 seasons, has been the Club First Aid Officer for 2 seasons and has gained recognition at a number of levels including -

Kirra SLSC - Co Youth Development Officer 2021/22
Kirra SLSC - Social Committee 2021/22
Kirra SLSC - 100+ hours 2017/18, 2018/19, 2020/21
Australian Titles - Gold and Bronze Medallist 2019 (IRB Racing)
Australian Titles - Australian Championship winning Club for both U23, Open and Overall teams
World Titles - Member of 2nd place overall Club (IRB Racing)
Surf Woman of the Year is a celebration of the most passionate, talented and hardworking women within organisation. The program seeks to engage the most capable women from surf lifesaving clubs across Queensland and develop their skills and experience to further their future careers both within and outside the Surf Life Saving movement. The program will also connect women from across the state and in turn build a powerful alumni network.
The Surf Woman of the Year 2021 Program entrants will be responsible for representing the movement in promoting surf safety, fundraising, and the important role of Surf Life Saving in the wider community. The Surf Woman of the Year Program will feature additional learning and development opportunities to benefit each entrant and their respective clubs.
